Rachel assists the deputy director in Women Thrive's capacity building projects, helping to develop and facilitate upcoming training courses.

Before becoming a fellow, Rachel taught at a Moroccan university for a year with a US Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Grant, devoted two years to collecting gender data for the database The WomenStats Project, and interned for UN Women's Peace and Security section in New York. She enjoys reading, experimenting with new recipes, and having unexpected adventures.

Rachel holds a Master's Degree in International Affairs from Texas A&M University (with a specialization in International Development and Economic Policy)  and a Bachelor's Degree in French and Literature from the University at Buffalo.
