Noel supervises and leads Women Thrive Alliance’s learning community, providing capacity-building training and resources to more than 300 grassroots gender equality organizations.
Noel supervises and leads Women Thrive Alliance’s learning community, providing capacity-building training and resources to more than 300 grassroots gender equality organizations. A former educator herself, she designs curricula, facilitates learning opportunities, and supports advocates to build their skills through the Raise Your Voice program. She produces tools to help grassroots advocates connect with one another, build their power, and create change. She also provides strategic support to the Executive Director on institutional programming and policymaking.
Prior to joining Women Thrive, Noel served with the Peace Corps in Indonesia, where she contributed to the reopening and expansion of the program after a 45-year closure and worked with teachers and youth to create communities of practice and raise their voices to local and national decision-makers. She has also worked with the Turkish Education Consultancy in Istanbul, Turkey and human rights NGO RADDHO in Dakar, Senegal.
Noel holds Bachelor’s degrees in International Relations and Psychology from James Madison College at Michigan State University.
